Marek Furtek reappointed President of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw.

We are pleased to announce that, on 23 February 2012, the Presidium of the Polish Chamber of Commerce appointed attorney Marek Furtek to serve as President of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce (PCC) in Warsaw, for another three-year term.
Attorney Marek Furtek has served as the President of the Court of Arbitration at the PCC since March 2009. The first three years of his term were spent primarily on strengthening the position of the court of arbitration as the principal forum for the amicable resolution of disputes between businesses.It should be noted that the number of cases received by the Court of Arbitration at the PCC has been on the rise since 2009.“The growing number of cases signifies that our efforts to promote amicable dispute resolution have been effective.“Polish companies are becoming increasingly aware of the benefits of arbitration and mediation,” says attorney Marek Furtek, President of the Court of Arbitration at the PCC.

Marek Furtek is a well-known, accomplished attorney-at-law, partner at FKA Furtek Komosa Aleksandrowicz, and an expert in corporate and civil law.His track record includes a number of civil and commercial law publications.
