FKA Privacy Policy

The controller of your personal data is FKA Furtek Komosa Aleksandrowicz sp.k. with its registered office in Warsaw, at Puławska 2, 02-566 Warsaw (“FKA”).
FKA ensures respect for the privacy of users of the website http://www.fka.pl (“Users”) and processes personal data in keeping with the requirements of generally applicable law, particularly from the day of commencement, i.e. 25 May 2018, of applicability of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (the “General Data Protection Regulation” or “GDPR”), as well as of Polish regulations issued in connection with the GDPR.
Due to the possibility that FKA may amend this Privacy Policy, we recommend that you familiarise yourself with its content from time to time.

Extent and objectives of processing personal data
FKA collects users’ personal data for the following objectives:
- arising from legally justified interests pursued by FKA as data controller and connected with FKA’s operations, and for the purposes of contact with Users;
- to perform agreements concluded by FKA with clients and entities cooperating with FKA;
- to recruit candidates interested in working for or cooperating with FKA.
The data obtained will be used by FKA only to the extent necessary, including for analytical and statistical purposes.
Personal data of subscribers to FKA’s Newsletter can be sent to entities helping FKA to provide the FKA Newsletter to subscribers, to the extent to which this is necessary for the subscription service. FKA has received a warranty that entities to which FKA entrusts personal data processing guarantee that appropriate measures will be taken to protect and secure the personal data as required by law.
Currently, data connected with sending the FKA Newsletter are processed as part of the MailChimp system and are therefore stored on servers located within the territory of the United States of America (USA). The MailChimp system provider joined the Privacy Shield program and guarantees an appropriate level of personal data protection.
Processing data at FKA
The following have access to personal data: FKA and employees and co-workers of FKA authorised in writing. FKA keeps a record of those persons authorised to process data. Persons authorised to process data are obliged to keep the personal data and means of securing them secret.
FKA does not make available or disclose personal data collected concerning Users, except for situations described in the Privacy Policy or when this arises from generally applicable law. FKA may entrust personal data processing to service providers, for example to IT service providers, on the basis of an agreement concluded with them to entrust data for processing.
Rights of Users
Giving one’s personal data is voluntary, but necessary in order to provide an answer to a question sent or in connection with the subscription service.
The User has the right to:
- access his personal data, including to obtain copies thereof;
- if personal data are processed on the basis of consent, the User has the right to withdraw the consent at any time, which can be done, for example, by sending an e-mail to: rodo@fka.pl . The withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of data processing which had been carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal;
- data rectification, deletion, restriction of their processing, as well as the right to data portability – on the principles set out in Articles 16-20 GDPR;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (which from the date of entry into force of the Act on the Protection of Personal Data of 10 May 2018 will be the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection), if processing the User’s personal data by FKA is considered to breach the provisions on personal data protection.
