Arbitration is becoming more and more popular not only among Polish entrepreneurs. Also lawyers and law graduates are increasingly interested in arbitration. 

The proof of this phenomenon is the number of theses entered into the sixth edition of the Jerzy Jakubowski competition for the best master’s thesis on arbitration and mediation.

„This number has been increasing year on year. This year, we received the total of 40 dissertations, five of which were written in English., whereas last year there were only 29” – says Marek Furtek, the President of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce, which organised the competition.
