FKA advised Senvion GmbH wind farms
FKA advised Senvion wind farms on the acquisition of EUROS Group.
FKA Furtek Komosa Aleksandrowicz advised a global manufacturer of onshore and offshore wind turbines Senvion GmbH, with its headquarters in Germany, on the acquisition of 100% of the shares in EUROS Group, a provider of licenses and technology solutions for wind farm rotor blades.
Senvion GmbH is a company belonging to Senvion S.A., which is listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. EUROS Group comprises three technology companies specialised in rotor blade manufacturing: EUROS Entwicklungsgesellschaft für Windkraftanlagen GmbH (Germany), EUROS Polska sp. z o.o. and EUROS Rotor Systems Polska sp. z o.o. (Poland).
The acquisition of EUROS Group is the next step in Senvion’s international expansion. In August 2016 Senvion acquired Kenersys, an Indian company producing wind turbines.
In the Polish aspects of the transaction Senvion was advised by FKA’s Corporate and M&A practice, supervised by Edyta Jusiel (partner), and supported by Milena Wieczorek-Waszewska (legal advisor), Mariusz Aleksandrowicz (head of the Tax practice) and Marta Ignasiak (tax advisor).
The entire transaction was coordinated by the German law office Oppenhoff & Partner.
