Senior associate Agnieszka Skrok at FKA Furtek Komosa Aleksandrowicz represented Bank Handlowy in eight court proceedings before the Court of Competition and Consumer Protection and the Court of Appeal. VIA SMS is another client, which the firm defended against allegations of abusive clauses in its loan agreement templates, and violation of collective consumer interests.

Advocate in the firm’s Competition and Antitrust Law practice. An LL.M. graduate from the University of Maastricht. She specialises in competition law (which includes antitrust, merger control and combating unfair competition), litigation, arbitration and disputes before administrative courts. She prepares, analyses and verifies a documentation (inter alia: agreements, rules), particularly for the banking and financial sectors. She advises clients in merger proceedings before the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection. She is regularly involved in due diligence audits. She represents banks in court disputes concerning currency options, and the companies from the consumer banking sector (fast loans) in proceedings before the Court of Competition and Consumer Protection relating to the abusive clauses and practices that affect the collective interests of consumers. Apart from financial sector, she advises companies from other sectors, such as: FMCG, IT, construction and media. She has conducted a number of compliance trainings. Before joining FKA Agnieszka worked at the Directorate General for Competition of the European Commission. She is a member of The Polish Competition Law Association. Agnieszka is frequently recommended by Legal 500 EMEA in competition law area.
